Star-Studded 18 – Summer 1972 (FINAL ISSUE) Issue titled just “Star Studded” – no “Comics” in the title. Format: B/W offset lithograph process, newsprint. Only issue in which the cover is NOT in color. Cover and the pages in the center of the book are on a light-blue colored paper. Front cover is by Steve Fritz and back cover is by Raymond B. W. Wong . Cover price $0.75.

“Let’s Talk It Over!” column has letters from Gardner F. Fox, Al Christensen, Harry Warner Jr., Bill Schelly, and Kent Russell. Column also notes that Jim Starlin and Dave Cockrum, who have work in this issue and previous issues, recently became professionals “for the comic publishers in NYC.” Also notes that Dr. Weird now has his own comic and that issues one and two are available for 35 cents each.
