This issue covers Avengers (1st series) 46 thru 66, Annual 2, and Marvel Super Heroes 17. Each issue reviewed in the index has a full-page summary and a full-page reprint of the original cover.

Cover inks by Al Milgrom. The wraparound cover shows eight Avengers plus the Black Panther battling Ymir, Surtur, Magneto, the Grim Reaper, the Masters of Evil, and Ultron. The cover is similar to the cover of Avengers 61. Splash page art by Ron Frenz and Al Milgrom. The splash page depicts Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch on the run from Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The last page contains a special chronology for Ultron-5.
