The deadly assassin Boomerang is hired by Max Hammer, formerly Max Stryker the Kingpin of Crime who predates Wilson Fisk, to find Dr. Bruce Banner and convince him to use his experimental gamma-technology to cure Hammer’s cancer. In a special epilogue the Hulk enters into a giant construct the whisks him away to the Beyonder’s Battleworld.
