This issue reprints the strips from July 2-14, 1941 and April 6 – May 21, 1949. After the conclusion of the Trigger Doom storyline, the reprints jump ahead eight years. Jewel thief Pear-Shape sets his sights on a hidden fortune, but an obstinate dog stands in his way. The crooks efforts to get rid of the dog only succeed in attracting the attention of Dick Tracy.
