Created by Richard Corben, Den is probably best known for his appearances in Heavy Metal Magazine and in the 1981 Columbia Motion Picture, Heavy Metal, voiced by John Candy. In this series, with plot, illustrations, and color by Corben and script by Simon Revelstroke, Den and his allies must penetrate the stronghold of an enemy from the past before the guards and the rays of dawn discover them. Includes a back-up story by Stan Dresser.
